Testimonies of Viannistas

SEM. FORTUNATO "TITING" ESTILLORE II, 3rd Year Theologian (Tandag)
"It's quite difficult to make parallelisms between the world 150 years ago and the world at the present.  Ours today is so advanced and technologically driven.  Thus, to compare St. John Vianney with anyone else in the seminary in view of the present context could be intricate to appraise.  The life of St. John Vianney is an epiphany of what an exemplary disciple of Christ ought to live.  In many ways, his examples are hard to imitate.  Yes, it isn't without hopw because every time a seminarian of Vianney ardently goes to the chapel to encounter God in prayer and sacraments, every time he zealously endeavors for excellence in his studies, and every time he positively responds to the challenges as well as to the joys of living in community, he therefore radiates and epitolomizes the "viannistic" character.  Aren't all of these characteristics tangible to a Viannista?  Why not?  (As published in "Tulay ng Vianney," Vol 18 No. 1.  Interview by Sem. Louileo G. D. Pelingon)
